Graphic 45 Design Team Audition

Hello my name is Nicole and welcome to my blog, in this post I will list 3 projects and a link to my video where I am creating the Mother Goose tag. Here is what I enjoy about crafting with paper, I can make functional work like a greeting card, envelopes and stationary for planners or calendars or I can make art work for decoration. Paper crafting has been a long time hobby of mine and I enjoy creating tags and letters mainly, I actually think I can make tags all day. I like creating mixed media, ever since I took a class on it in college. I like to make embellishments for my pieces but I also love stickers and cut-a-part's because they guarantee to match with whatever paper collection I am using. Below you will see three projects I created, two are using the Graphic 45 paper collection Mother Goose 8x8 pad. The last one is using the Prima Something Blue 6x6 stack. I hope you enjoy my paper creations! The first project is my Mother Goose tag. I love nursery rhymes and fairy ta

Prima wall hanging

Tonight I created a wall hanging from a wooden frame I bought from AC Moore. I used flowers from my local discount store, not Dollar Tree. The paper is Prima's Something Blue paper pack. I cut some of the journal cards out to stuff into the pocket I made. I made the pocket by gluing three journal cards together and embellished them with washi tape on the sides. I painted the frame with gold paint and while it was wet I poured glitter onto the frame. I love how this turned out and will go right onto the wall in my room.

Graphic 45 Mother Goose pocket card

Now this is not a true card in size, but i was inspired by flip books and wanted to make one. However this isnt really a flip book either. I loaded it with journal cards and a packet full of confetti. When I get a snail mail pen pal I will have a letter ready to send. This card features also an envelope that I made from scrap paper and used it as a pocket to hold some more journal cards. I really love that I was able to make a full project out of the scraps I has left from my tag, I used the 8x8 mother goose collection from graphic 45.

Graphic 45 Mother Goose Tag

Here is my first blog post for graphic 45's design team cast call. This tag is using the Mother Goose 8x8 collection. I also cut pieces from the Prima nursery rhyme collection journal card book. I made a pocket with the journal card and fussy cut some flowers to make a cluster on one side. I love the way this tag came out because I have admired the work of many youtubers and bloggers who make amazing work with graphic 45 papers and I am happy to see that I can also create something amazing. I also filmed a youtube video that I will link as soon as I am done editing it so everyone can see the process.

My Inspiration Room

This may be crazy but I love my room. I have the most inspiring room for myself. I dont know if this room will inspire others but it lifts me up and there is always something that makes me happy in here. I have suffered from negativity so much in my life, knowing I come home to this happy place gives me so much security. I finally have somewhere that makes me smile.
