AAH - How I use Model Magic. 10/11/19 - Selling Art/Making Art/Creative Process/How to Over the years a common review of my videos brings up the material I love the most. Model Magic is a modeling clay So many people over the years have asked questions about using this clay that I have come up with some popular questions and answers.  Q: What is Model Magic? Glancing at this packing you might think this will too child oriented for any practical use and to a degree this is correct. Using the clay straight from the package leads to major problems such as uneven texture and drying or worse cracking.  Q. How do I fix texture and cracking? To remedy this I use a spritzer bottle filled with water to spray my clay as I am sculpting to keep it hydrated. I will also keep some in a plastic zip-lock bag and spray water in when it begins to dry. By controlling the hydration of the clay it allows for the clay to dry evenly and when it has fully dried (about 4 d...

Now this is not a true card in size, but i was inspired by flip books and wanted to make one. However this isnt really a flip book either. I loaded it with journal cards and a packet full of confetti. When I get a snail mail pen pal I will have a letter ready to send. This card features also an envelope that I made from scrap paper and used it as a pocket to hold some more journal cards. I really love that I was able to make a full project out of the scraps I has left from my tag, I used the 8x8 mother goose collection from graphic 45.

Here is my first blog post for graphic 45's design team cast call. This tag is using the Mother Goose 8x8 collection. I also cut pieces from the Prima nursery rhyme collection journal card book. I made a pocket with the journal card and fussy cut some flowers to make a cluster on one side. I love the way this tag came out because I have admired the work of many youtubers and bloggers who make amazing work with graphic 45 papers and I am happy to see that I can also create something amazing. I also filmed a youtube video that I will link as soon as I am done editing it so everyone can see the process. 

These are my journal spreads for week 36/52. This week was horrible there were such rude and nasty people who just could not for the life of themselves be decent. At my job we're all inservice training courses and maybe the whole planet needs service training. Oh well this weeks over and a new week is coming with more surprises whether good or bad.
