Pastel Cup Cake Rings

Pastel Cupcake Rings Hi everyone in this post I am showing off some of my pastel cupcake rings. I used model magic and tinted white clay with pastel craft store paint. There are so many cheap paints to choose from I did not worry about quality. The cupcake bottoms were made with a FuwaFuwa mold (i think) or Padico. The cookies were made with a Padico mold for certain. I love making these and am currently brain storming a plan to have these up for sale.  So this is how I work the cupcakes out and its a process, it usually takes a few days for the clay to dry and I like to work out the colors before hand. Going forward I think I need to plan out how many colors I plan on using because sometimes I was left with more brown wafers and less mint wafers or more mint cookies and less strawberry cookies. As you can see there are all these orange pieces to the right of the screen. I really didnt know why I made them and honestly I did not use them at all except wh...

Graphic 45 Design Team Audition

Hello my name is Nicole and welcome to my blog, in this post I will list 3 projects and a link to my video where I am creating the Mother Goose tag. Here is what I enjoy about crafting with paper, I can make functional work like a greeting card, envelopes and stationary for planners or calendars or I can make art work for decoration. Paper crafting has been a long time hobby of mine and I enjoy creating tags and letters mainly, I actually think I can make tags all day. I like creating mixed media, ever since I took a class on it in college. I like to make embellishments for my pieces but I also love stickers and cut-a-part's because they guarantee to match with whatever paper collection I am using. Below you will see three projects I created, two are using the Graphic 45 paper collection Mother Goose 8x8 pad. The last one is using the Prima Something Blue 6x6 stack. I hope you enjoy my paper creations! The first project is my Mother Goose tag. I love nursery rhymes and fairy ta...

Graphic 45 Mother Goose pocket card

Now this is not a true card in size, but i was inspired by flip books and wanted to make one. However this isnt really a flip book either. I loaded it with journal cards and a packet full of confetti. When I get a snail mail pen pal I will have a letter ready to send. This card features also an envelope that I made from scrap paper and used it as a pocket to hold some more journal cards. I really love that I was able to make a full project out of the scraps I has left from my tag, I used the 8x8 mother goose collection from graphic 45.
