Card Project Sare - Pink Envelope and Mini File Folder

Hello everyone in this post I will be showing you a finished project. This was one of those projects where you aren't sure where to start out but you end up finishing with something really great. In this project I used two pieces of pink colored card stock, pastel pink pigment inks from Michaels. If you want to know what I think of those inks then ready my review here . So here is how I made this set of cards. The mini folder can be used to hold items it is about half the size of a regular file folder or less. I took my Darice embossing folder and embossed the two sheets of colored card stock. Then I scored and cut my card into a panel. I stamped my sentiments on white card stock and gave them some dimension with foam squares. The mini file folder is really easy to make if you have the We Are Memory Keepers File folder punch board or the 123 Punch Board. I do not own to the File Punch (though I want it), I used the 123 Board, on the board there is an arrow shaped punch and that c

Makeup Monday 03-26-18

So  I am hoping to continue a series of "Makeup Monday" where I post what makeup I am using, a picture of how it came out and what look I came up with. So first let me begin by posting the picture of the products I used and I will let you know how it went: The only things I haven't shown, simply because I forgot is a Laura Mercier blush and a Makeup Revolution bronzer which I slept on all year but is amazing! Get yourself some Makeup Revolution it is so good. Products  Here is how the look came out, I chose to use the LA Colors Day & Night Palette. This palette is full of violets and oranges which are great colors to use together if you have darker skin these they are complimentary to darker or yellow beige tones. So all you really need is a tan to pull off a shimmery neutral look. I can say if you have light or fair skin that is more pink toned it probably will look more dramatic since the colors will not blend in with your skin tone as much they will look

Using New CraftSmart Inks from Michaels

Hi everybody so in this blog I'm going to be talking about these CraftSmart inks from Michaels. After using them I can say I really like them and I'm going to insert a picture so you can see which colors I've purchased. So of course to begin I would like to discuss that these are coming across as pigment inks and I don't have a reason to think that they are dye inks as they are very very opaque, non transparent and they take a long time to dry. These packs came in sets of 6 and we're only $2. These are more than a deal for anyone who uses inks on a regular basis. Honestly inks can cost you when you are trying to build your stash so if you do come across these gems I greatly suggest buying some. There were several different sets but mainly the colors were pastels as I've shown above. These are a great bargain if you're looking to save money on crafting. Only one Michaels near me had them out so they might be hard to find in some areas, good luck.
