Problem Products: NYC Showtime Mascara

Usually I throw out products that don't work for me and I leave them behind without comment but I'm thinking I may start posting about things that leave me irritated. Literally, this mascara has made my eyes burn in the past but I thought I would hold onto it and see if it was me (I have very bad seasonal allergies) or if it was the mascara. Now that it's winter I can definitely tell everyone that this mascara has something in it that makes my eyes afflicted. Perhaps it's the formula, I noticed little flaky bits on the inside of my eye lid, the only mascara that left behind flaky bits for me in the past was Hard Candy's eyelash stain. But that did not irritate my eyes likes this mascara, so I assume it is the dye or whatever particles that makeup the black base for the pigments and not the binding agent. Either way I am steering clear of this in the future since it's been 2 days with red bruised eyes and I have no intention of prolonging my own suffering.

My favorite Air Dry Clays

Favorites change day by day for some people but I have found some reliable products that I suggest using.  Air dry clay takes about 3 days to dry but that is the minimum I have found. Anywhere from 3-7 days is for any object to be completely dry not just to the touch. I consider clays dry when they are completely dry on the inside and outside. Raccoon Honey I just got so I haven't used it yet. Hearty is a Japanese brand resin clay. Crayola makes Model Magic and their own form of air dry ceramic clay. Creatology is very cheap and good for simple sculptures. I did not include Kutsuwa brand clay since I don't like it very much. I don't like Debika clays either I find them to be along the lines of Kutsuwa clay. Kutsuwa clay - very moist paper clay that is easy to mold, mix with glue to soften the clay if it dries out. Feels spongy when wet but dries hard.  Takes over 5 days to dry hard (not just to the touch but throughout the clay), light weight hard texture when absol

Sailor Moon case by YYKawaii

So my dear new friend Yan (whose name makes the YY) made this case or me. She has an Etsy shop where she has soo many different cases, she makes lovely designs that are all amazing. I love her cases so much I decided to make some myself (and went a little crazy). Mine are definitely different from hers but I can't compare when it comes to her style. I've seen a lot of different decoden shops and very few are not only consistent (without being repetitive) but accommodate different themes. So here is the first case I will show you. Its a sailor moon case and its the most absolutely fabulous case ever! I couldn't make one better myself and I mean that.

Cellphone Case Crazy

I've been a little bit obsessed with making cell phone cases. I always wanted to do traditional decoden, which is on the cellphone itself. Back  in the day I used to cover my flip phone with stickers, rhinestones and 3D objects but  since smartphones have replaced most flip phones in the US I decided it's not such a good idea to permanently cement rhinestones to my iPhone.   So here is where the cases come in. I remember decoden was sooo big in the 90s! Big nails, big hair, big cell phones....but now bling style is kind of a standard. So the first cellphone case I ordered was from an awesome girl in the UK whose screen name is YYKawaii. She has an Etsy store and makes fantastic cases. I decided to make my own after ordering a total of 5 cases from her. So in here I will include the photo's of all of the cases I have ordered.
