Dior Addict 2014 Campaign: It Lash Mascara & It Liner

Hi Hi Everyone, in this blog I'm going to tell you all about the new Dior Addict collection. Now I did not purchase any eye shadows from this collection because I already purchased some from the new spring collection from the standard line. I also purchased the new Dior Addict Extreme lipsticks but not the Fluid Sticks. Luckily my sister purchased one of the Fluid Sticks so I can still do a video on all of my purchases and most of the products. If you haven't already please follow me on youtube @ AliceArisuHearts.

Moving on to the main topic. Dior launched a new Dior Addict line of eye shadows (which I do plan on purchasing in the future.), Mascara's and Liners. These are all amazing, I personally love the mascara which is sooo beautiful, there is a black, pink, blue and purple. Off the bat do NOT purchase the pink if you are someone who is mainly concerned with being "wearable" or conservative, these are not your normal pops of color. My nail polish by the way is Anchors Away by Sinful Colors.

I hope the obvious has appeared, there is nothing natural or wearable about this collection, I do plan on getting my hands on these individual eye shadows and soon I tell you. They remind me of the shadows in the Trianon collection which I absolutely love. They are just a little drier than usual which is fine in  my opinion since they are brighter, they come off VERY blend-able and creamy.

These mascaras are not for the weak either because they are true to color, you will see my picture at the bottom where I put the pink on my top lashes and the purple on the bottom lashes. Now here is some tricky business, Lord & Taylor nor Macy's sells the pink It-Mascara, you have to purchase it from Sephora and Nordstrom. For the wearable inclined the blue and purple are the most conforming colors, if you like the literal pop of color on the bottom lashes then please pick the blue or purple outside of the standard black. The pink however is what I went with because it is so unique and the formula was amazing it looked like I had pink eye shadow on even though it was just my lashes.
These were the fluid sticks picked to coordinate with this collection I apologize because I forgot to get the numbers of these colors but this collection came to stores on Wednesday so it is fresh and available. If I get back in time I can fill in the color numbers. The fluid sticks are your best friend if you like the whole glossy stain concept, these are NOT actual staining products but some colors do stain. They are actually high pigment semi-opaque glosses.
These swatches are for the It-Liner's the names are It-Black, It-Blue, It-Purple, and It-Pink. They gel based liners which are very easy to line and easy to remove, the pink is less (based on the tester) consistent than the other three, but I liked the color so that was the one I purchased. The black is quite thick which makes me think it will thicken up over time and get clumpy but we will see. Other wise I thoroughly enjoy these liners.

Marc Jacobs Blaquer Mascara

So I may be the last person in the word right now to tell everyone what I think of Marc Jacobs beauty but slowly I'm making my way through the products.  http://www.sephora.com/lash-lifter-gel-volume-mascara-P379421 The first product I want to talk about is the Marc Jacobs Blaquer Mascara, this product is a tubing mascara and builds up amazing volume. The wand is triangular in circumference which is really great for getting to all of my lashes, it's also very long which grabs most of them at once and since it's a tubing mascara it would need to. My eye lashes are super black and don't smudge or run and I have extremely runny eyes that just pour tears out of my outer corner whenever they are even slightly irritated. So lucky me, this mascara is yet another 25$ way too expensive product but honestly it's great. Here's the down side I do not recommend putting mascara on the top and bottom at the same time. Some mascara's don't mind touching together but sin...

Artist Rambles Article 1 - Starting New Projects

Creative Process Blog 1: Sketching So If you follow me on Instagram you will have noticed an increase in sketches and drawings. I currently am attempting to make a come back as a traditional artist. I have been pushing myself really hard to increase sketches and drawing time whenever I have free time. Usually at night these days. It has been an up hill in heels battle so far and I personally do not feel like I am making any progress. I have filled two sketch books so far and will be making a new sketch book soon.  Back in high school I had tons of passion and drive, there were so many inspiring things to me I kind of kept "books" on them. Fashion magazines, movies, comics whatever I saw that was interesting would make me want to create something. When I went to college my drive changed to where music was a huge influence as well as video games. I was dead set on making everything into Silent Hill or Dir En Grey inspired and I would listen to movie sound track...

My favorite Air Dry Clays

Favorites change day by day for some people but I have found some reliable products that I suggest using.  Air dry clay takes about 3 days to dry but that is the minimum I have found. Anywhere from 3-7 days is for any object to be completely dry not just to the touch. I consider clays dry when they are completely dry on the inside and outside. Raccoon Honey I just got so I haven't used it yet. Hearty is a Japanese brand resin clay. Crayola makes Model Magic and their own form of air dry ceramic clay. Creatology is very cheap and good for simple sculptures. I did not include Kutsuwa brand clay since I don't like it very much. I don't like Debika clays either I find them to be along the lines of Kutsuwa clay. Kutsuwa clay - very moist paper clay that is easy to mold, mix with glue to soften the clay if it dries out. Feels spongy when wet but dries hard.  Takes over 5 days to dry hard (not just to the touch but throughout the clay), light weight hard texture when abs...
