AAH - Art Sketch Books That I Have Used

Currently I am using a sketch book called the Artist Line sketch book. This can be purchased from Dollar Tree though sometimes it is out of stock. Apparently this is a popular item because recently I have not been able to buy one near me. I found some in stock at a Dollar Tree about an hour away though so I purchased more stock. I still have 3 books that have not been touched and my dog destroyed two lol. 

So far I have completed about 7 journals considering my dogs destroyed two. I really like these books mainly because they are small and easy to carry around. There are only 50 pages they are hot pressed and are best used with pencil or ball point pen. Considering almost all of my sketches are done in pencil or pen these are the best bang for my buck. There is another line of sketch pads that Dollar Tree offers and I have tried most of them. So far these are my favorite but I will show off the other drawing pads later because I use those for making custom art journals.

In fact I keep multiple journals and some only have notes without drawings or sketches.

Artist Rambles Article 1 - Starting New Projects

Creative Process Blog 1: Sketching So If you follow me on Instagram you will have noticed an increase in sketches and drawings. I currently am attempting to make a come back as a traditional artist. I have been pushing myself really hard to increase sketches and drawing time whenever I have free time. Usually at night these days. It has been an up hill in heels battle so far and I personally do not feel like I am making any progress. I have filled two sketch books so far and will be making a new sketch book soon.  Back in high school I had tons of passion and drive, there were so many inspiring things to me I kind of kept "books" on them. Fashion magazines, movies, comics whatever I saw that was interesting would make me want to create something. When I went to college my drive changed to where music was a huge influence as well as video games. I was dead set on making everything into Silent Hill or Dir En Grey inspired and I would listen to movie sound track...

Weekly Journal Spreads

These are my journal spreads for week 36/52. This week was horrible there were such rude and nasty people who just could not for the life of themselves be decent. At my job we're all inservice training courses and maybe the whole planet needs service training. Oh well this weeks over and a new week is coming with more surprises whether good or bad.
