Maybelline Spring 2014 Collection

While I'm always the last person to pick stuff up and no store near me besides Harmon's put out displays I was lucky to get these shiny shadows before it's too late.

Point! --- Nude Romance
(eyeshadow quad)
This eyeshadow quad is completely matte so for anyone who hates that there are no good mattes well here you go. Other than the out of the ordinary matte shadows I really like them, they are soft and easy to use which is the whole point of the drugstore in my opinion. The warm brown is so close to my skin color it blends right in.

Next the Color Tattoos

Wish I could've gotten the lip glosses but they were all tampered with so I had to pass. My Walgreens will have them out in the next month but they will be almost 10$ a piece there 😓.

These are 4 out of 6 colors.
These are
Nude Compliment - quite pink but metallic warm tone nude
Beige-ing Beauty - warm tone metallic beige
Stroke of Midnight - glittery black matte
Sleek & Spice - warm tone brown very metallic

All of these dispite metallic/shimmer in them dry to a creamy finish not overly shiny as you can see in the swatches.

I don't think these vary much from the original formula and I plan on purchasing more products when I can find them.

Marc Jacobs Blaquer Mascara

So I may be the last person in the word right now to tell everyone what I think of Marc Jacobs beauty but slowly I'm making my way through the products.  http://www.sephora.com/lash-lifter-gel-volume-mascara-P379421 The first product I want to talk about is the Marc Jacobs Blaquer Mascara, this product is a tubing mascara and builds up amazing volume. The wand is triangular in circumference which is really great for getting to all of my lashes, it's also very long which grabs most of them at once and since it's a tubing mascara it would need to. My eye lashes are super black and don't smudge or run and I have extremely runny eyes that just pour tears out of my outer corner whenever they are even slightly irritated. So lucky me, this mascara is yet another 25$ way too expensive product but honestly it's great. Here's the down side I do not recommend putting mascara on the top and bottom at the same time. Some mascara's don't mind touching together but sin...

Artist Rambles Article 1 - Starting New Projects

Creative Process Blog 1: Sketching So If you follow me on Instagram you will have noticed an increase in sketches and drawings. I currently am attempting to make a come back as a traditional artist. I have been pushing myself really hard to increase sketches and drawing time whenever I have free time. Usually at night these days. It has been an up hill in heels battle so far and I personally do not feel like I am making any progress. I have filled two sketch books so far and will be making a new sketch book soon.  Back in high school I had tons of passion and drive, there were so many inspiring things to me I kind of kept "books" on them. Fashion magazines, movies, comics whatever I saw that was interesting would make me want to create something. When I went to college my drive changed to where music was a huge influence as well as video games. I was dead set on making everything into Silent Hill or Dir En Grey inspired and I would listen to movie sound track...

My favorite Air Dry Clays

Favorites change day by day for some people but I have found some reliable products that I suggest using.  Air dry clay takes about 3 days to dry but that is the minimum I have found. Anywhere from 3-7 days is for any object to be completely dry not just to the touch. I consider clays dry when they are completely dry on the inside and outside. Raccoon Honey I just got so I haven't used it yet. Hearty is a Japanese brand resin clay. Crayola makes Model Magic and their own form of air dry ceramic clay. Creatology is very cheap and good for simple sculptures. I did not include Kutsuwa brand clay since I don't like it very much. I don't like Debika clays either I find them to be along the lines of Kutsuwa clay. Kutsuwa clay - very moist paper clay that is easy to mold, mix with glue to soften the clay if it dries out. Feels spongy when wet but dries hard.  Takes over 5 days to dry hard (not just to the touch but throughout the clay), light weight hard texture when abs...
