New Loreal Dual Effects Coloriche Quads

So again I forgot to get the display picture but these came our last week in my local Harmon, they are around 8.99 but hold your horses...this quad is as good as my Lancôme eyeshadow quints. I'm so impressed since Loreal has been upping the quality of their product lines. These quads came out in the UK a while ago and I was waiting for them to hit our shelves here in the US, they are a wet to dry formula and worth every cent you spend and the color selections are nude, neutral and smokey. There were around 6 different quads (8 in the display) to choose from but none were too over the top.  The quad I purchased is called Treasured Bronze 240, here are the swatches. They are smooth, creamy not dry a little bit of texture because there is shimmer in this quad, and almost all of them but it's so pretty very good for day time or work. The shimmer is so fine and reminds me of the MAC fine cosmetic glitters, mixed in with metallic bronze shimmer. That sounds so not subtle but it's

Smackers Luscious Lip Gloss

Normally I have a picture of the display to go with a product review but I was in a rush and didn't get any. I have plenty of pictures of the product though. Found in Rite Aid or other stores that carry Smackers products like Harmon's or Walmart, I made out with paying a whole whopping $2.95 for this product. If you aren't near any of those locations, you can purchase these online and prices will vary. So moving on to the topic. I at first was sketchy of these new items and assumed they were released for the retro scents/flavores. So I picked up Strawberry Lemonaid since that was my favorite as a youngster an woah Nelly these were not your regular lip balms. They aren't lip balms at all actually, they are saturated lip glosses in a stick form and are soo smooth and luscious as the name pursaudes. There are around 6-8 flavors and they all smell great, some have shimmer, glitter and shiny particles others like Strawberry Lemonaid are glossy. Over all you must get these in

Dior Addict 2014 Campaign: It Lash Mascara & It Liner

Hi Hi Everyone, in this blog I'm going to tell you all about the new Dior Addict collection. Now I did not purchase any eye shadows from this collection because I already purchased some from the new spring collection from the standard line. I also purchased the new Dior Addict Extreme lipsticks but not the Fluid Sticks. Luckily my sister purchased one of the Fluid Sticks so I can still do a video on all of my purchases and most of the products. If you haven't already please follow me on youtube @ AliceArisuHearts. Moving on to the main topic. Dior launched a new Dior Addict line of eye shadows (which I do plan on purchasing in the future.), Mascara's and Liners. These are all amazing, I personally love the mascara which is sooo beautiful, there is a black, pink, blue and purple. Off the bat do NOT purchase the pink if you are someone who is mainly concerned with being "wearable" or conservative, these are not your normal pops of color. My nail polish by the way

Equate Reviving Anti Wrinkle & Firming Moisturizer

Ok so this product is not new to me and I have had it for about 6 months. I can honestly tell you it's a good moisturizer. If your someone like me who has very very dry eyelids than you will probably be in the market for an eye cream. The thing is high end and mid range eye creams can be expensive even in the cheapest store. Previously I was using Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair but it's 55$, so I decided to look for cheap alternatives.  While in WalMart I noticed they had a brand called Equate and basically this is WalMart's beauty brand. The advertisement said to compare the Equate eye cream to the Loreal Regenerist eye cream, which I have tried and liked but found it wasn't as smooth as I would like. The Equate cream is very much like the Loreal cream except its so much smoother it feels so good and absorbs fairly well into the skin. I've tried it with serums and putting it ontop of a heavier moisturizer and that's where it doesn't work so well. Ontop

Marc Jacobs Blaquer Mascara

So I may be the last person in the word right now to tell everyone what I think of Marc Jacobs beauty but slowly I'm making my way through the products.  http://www.sephora.com/lash-lifter-gel-volume-mascara-P379421 The first product I want to talk about is the Marc Jacobs Blaquer Mascara, this product is a tubing mascara and builds up amazing volume. The wand is triangular in circumference which is really great for getting to all of my lashes, it's also very long which grabs most of them at once and since it's a tubing mascara it would need to. My eye lashes are super black and don't smudge or run and I have extremely runny eyes that just pour tears out of my outer corner whenever they are even slightly irritated. So lucky me, this mascara is yet another 25$ way too expensive product but honestly it's great. Here's the down side I do not recommend putting mascara on the top and bottom at the same time. Some mascara's don't mind touching together but sin

Lancôme Je Ne Sais Quoi Collection

Oh You may miss out on this if your not paying attention but I was lucky enough to be in "Lordies" (Lord and Taylor) and found this wonderful collection. Lancôme calls it "Je Ne Sais Quoi" and introduced 3 matte Brightening eyeshadow palettes and 5 gorgeous single shadows! I was tempted to buy the whole collection as it was just laid out  but I'm going to have to save my pennies to get all 3 palettes.  Here go some pictures: There is one eyebrow pencil in the display as well as their staple Artliner and lash primer.  The 3 eyeshadow palettes (Beige Brûlée, Chocolate Amande, and French Nude) are matte but they have one extremely sparkly top coat (marked by the Lancôme logo imprint) shade which takes the whole cake for me . Chocolate Amande has a little more of a gold pearl shimmer in it but is not in anyway glittery. The liner shades are also of a "velux pearl" consistency and kind of throw off of the whole matte idea IMO but still gorgeous anyway. If y

Maybelline Spring 2014 Collection

While I'm always the last person to pick stuff up and no store near me besides Harmon's put out displays I was lucky to get these shiny shadows before it's too late.  Point! --- Nude Romance (eyeshadow quad) This eyeshadow quad is completely matte so for anyone who hates that there are no good mattes well here you go. Other than the out of the ordinary matte shadows I really like them, they are soft and easy to use which is the whole point of the drugstore in my opinion. The warm brown is so close to my skin color it blends right in. Next the Color Tattoos  Wish I could've gotten the lip glosses but they were all tampered with so I had to pass. My Walgreens will have them out in the next month but they will be almost 10$ a piece there 😓. These are 4 out of 6 colors. These are Nude Compliment - quite pink but metallic warm tone nude Beige-ing Beauty - warm tone metallic beige  Stroke of Midnight - glittery black matte Sleek & Spice - warm tone brown very metallic Al

Dior Trianon Spring Collection Overview

So this was my most anticipated spring collection that has come out this year, I was mildly interested in Lancome's Ballerine collection but I passed on that. I find that in the continental USA we see a couple browns next to a pink and say the whole palette is pink themed but one pink eye shadow does not a palette make. So! When I saw Dior's Spring collection I had to have it, also I am going to pick up the Jill Stuart Strawberry collection as soon as I can.  I did a costume look using these colors to show how you can make these really over the top, even though they may seem pretty boring. Note the Dior imprint is practically rubbed off I've been using it so much. The reason I mention Jill Stuart is because these products seriously remind me of the quality of Jill Stuart makeup, the Trianon 5 colors is not everyone's cup of tea from a practical standpoint but as I am used to more pastel pearly finishes I really loved them. For someone with a yellow skin tone

Problem Product: NYC City Proof Twist Crayon

So here yet again and really it's not even the second time it's just the second time I say down to type up a blog about it. I bought the new NYC lip products the City Proof Twistable Lip Color Crayons super long name first of all and then of course it doesn't live up to its claims. First off its got the worst fake bubblegum scent ever! It smells soo bad that I can't bare to keep it on and it actually turns my stomach. It's just too much fragrance. Then it's greasy, slippery and has almost a lip tint effect but can be build able.why you would build up that greasy lip color I don't know because it feels imediately like a 1$ cheap waxy lipstick. Waxy is the word and it melted on me even though the high temperature for this week was 35 F. So long story short they are aweful, in my swatches they will look more opaque but that's because they melted. I suggest wearing them as cream cheek colors and not on your lips I think they will be great cheek products beca
